Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 14, 2026 · Last updated: June 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how UO Solutions, LLC, doing business as Signal Burst ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information in connection with the Signal Burst software wallet and related websites (the "Service"). We've tried to keep it honest and readable.
The short version: Signal Burst is non-custodial. Your private keys and seed phrase are created and kept on your device — we never receive them and cannot access your funds. We collect as little as possible. We only collect identity documents if you choose optional verification, and when we do, we protect them and keep them only as long as the law requires.
1. What we do not collect
We do not collect, receive, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet passwords. These never leave your device. Because the Service is non-custodial, we cannot access or move your funds.
2. Information we collect
- Screening data: To screen an incoming transfer, the Service processes the sender's public blockchain address and related on-chain metadata against third-party and public datasets. This is public information about the sender, not your private data.
- Optional identity verification (KYC): If you choose a verified tier or a regulated add-on service, we (or our verification provider) collect identity information you submit, which may include your name, date of birth, address, government-ID image, and a selfie/liveness check. This is optional and only collected if you opt in.
- Support and contact: If you email us, we receive your email address and message contents.
- Technical and app data: Limited diagnostic and usage data (for example, app version, crash logs, and coarse device information) to keep the app working. Where required, we ask consent for any non-essential analytics.
- Website cookies: Our website uses strictly necessary cookies only.
3. How we use information
- To provide the wallet and incoming-transfer screening.
- To verify identity and meet anti-money-laundering and sanctions obligations when you use verified or regulated services.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Service reliable.
- To comply with legal obligations and lawful requests.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where data-protection law (such as the GDPR) applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legal obligation (AML/sanctions compliance), legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention), and consent (non-essential analytics, which you can withdraw).
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate (for example, an identity-verification provider, screening-data providers, cloud hosting, and customer support), under contracts that require them to protect it.
- Regulators and authorities where we are legally required to disclose, including AML reporting and lawful requests.
- In a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Identity-verification and AML records are retained for the period required by applicable law (typically at least five years after the end of the customer relationship under U.S. AML recordkeeping rules). We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the limited data we hold. Remember: the security of your seed phrase is in your hands, not ours.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. U.S. state privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA) may give you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising). To exercise any right, contact us below. Note that we may be legally required to retain certain AML records even after a deletion request.
9. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
